Two person business health insurance

Q: Can I get group health insurance with a two person business?

A: Yes, but it is not always in your best interest to do so. Two individual policies are less expensive than a two person group policy. However, group insurance is necessary if one or both of the people are not healthy or have a medical condition that may require ongoing treatment. In either case, Freedom Benefits offers a great deal for finding and evaluating group health insurance vs. the other options for a flat fee of $150 for a two person business. Otherwise, the low cost health insurance plans that can be issued online at FreedomBenefits.net are a better deal. Keep in mind that there are a number of other requirements for group health insurance including a minimum of six months in business, the appointment of an agent of record, and the filing of wage tax returns for at least one employee. Some insurance companies exclude businesses in high risk occupations. These requirements vary slightly depending on the insurance company.
